Poaching

The Native Americans had it right, being one with the Earth and it's many organisms was the way to go. Hunting and killing an animal was more of a ritual then it was just killing to survive. Some tribes would take the heart out of there kill to let the soul free. They would make use of the whole animal right down to the very bones. In present day, the ways of the Native Americans have long disappeared. Poaching animals has become an issue in most countries.Poaching is when people kill an animal illegally for normally one part of there body. Poachers sell the animal part such as a horn, antler, or tusk on the black market. This affects biodiversity as species are becoming extinct due to the result of poaching. The things we can do to stop poaching is to raise awareness of this awful iniquity, and protect the endangered species before its to late.

  1. What a disturbing video. Sad to see that there is actually a market for this stuff. Awareness definitely helps but I think we need something more in many of these cases. Its too bad we can't eliminate the desire for these products.
